2. Your résumé should be about what you've accomplished and how you've performed. Don't just list your past employers.
A good résumé should predict how you would perform if given your desired job.
3. Keep it simple. Be concise with your points instead of making the hiring authority "search" for your accomplishments.
4. Find your niche and highlight it. With so many candidates, you need to differentiate yourself from everyone else. Adjectives such as "hardworking" and "honest" don't mean anything anymore.
5. Quantify everything. Demonstrate your work ethic with some specific numbers or instances. Examples: "Productivity increased 24% under my watch" or "I implemented a new system that reduced waste".
6. Include a Cover Letter. This is your chance to convey a little more of your personality.
